Have you had your say? If not, there is still time and loads of opportunities to do so. The new Council has been busy working on the creation of its new Council Plan which will guide its work for the next four years.  As part of this process Councillors want you, the community, to have your say to help plan and shape a better future for Murrindindi Shire.

Murrindindi Shire Council Mayor Charlie Bisset would like to thank those in the community that have already joined the conversation and encourages those that haven’t to have a say before the survey closes on Sunday 19 March.

“Councillors and Council staff have been popping up at a number of community events, markets and community meetings since the survey launched on 17 February. We have had a good initial response, with just over 500 surveys submitted in the first two weeks. But there are almost 14,000 people living in the Shire and we want to hear from them all!

“Having your say is as simple as filling out a short three question survey designed to find out what you love about your community, what you think could make it better and the work you think Council should be focusing on over the next four years,” said Cr Bisset.

To complete a survey online go to or search ‘Murrindindi Shire Council’ and ‘Like’ us on Facebook. Alternatively you can complete a printed survey that will be made available through local newspapers or by popping in to one of our Council offices and libraries or by calling 5772 0333 for a list of locations around the Shire.
