Solicitors often require information on building permits such as whether a Final Certificate or Occupancy permit have been issued in the last ten years. To obtain this information from Council your must submit an Application for Building Information 326(1) and include a copy of title or plan of subdivision.  A certificate fee of $43.45 is charged for this service.

The Building Department also can provide a Property Response Certificate which supplies information on the following:

• Flood prone land
• Specific flood levels
• Termite area
• Bushfire prone land

An Application for Property Information Response 326(2) is required, including a copy of the title or plan of subdivision and the certificate fee of $43.45.
