Council officers are authorised under the Road Safety Act and Council’s Local Laws to impound unregistered, derelict and abandoned vehicles that are found parked on any road or public land.

If your vehicle has been impounded a release fee is required before it can be returned.  Unclaimed vehicles will be advertised and sold.
