Council manages a broad range of infrastructure assets to support the delivery of essential and valued community services.

Our Asset Plan 2022-2032 describes how we intend to manage Council's infrastructure assets over the next ten years.

Climate Change threatens Council's ability to provide essential services and infrastructure, and Council has a legislated responsibility to act.

The purpose of Council's Domestic Animal Management Plan is to outline our strategic approach to the delivery of animal management services throughout the Shire.

The Plan outlines programs, services and strategies which we will use to promote and encourage responsible pet ownership using educational and regulatory approaches.

Council is responsible for the approval and on-going oversight of on-site wastewater management systems (or septic tanks) within the Shire.

This Policy aims to promote a consistent approach to risk management to achieve Council objectives. It applies to all Council operations and personnel, integrating risk management into governance and operations. The policy defines specific responsibilities for the CEO, Directors, Managers, and staff to ensure effective implementation.

Council recognises that improving gender equality within our organisation and wider community is one of the most important issues of our time. The Gender Equality Action Plan is focused on Council as an organisation and as an employer, and specifically outlines the steps we are taking to increase gender and intersectionality awareness and support within our organisation.

This Policy outlines guidelines for handling offers and provisions of gifts, benefits, and hospitality to ensure integrity and public trust. It mandates staff to avoid conflicts of interest, declare all offers, and adhere to strict approval processes for non-token gifts. The policy also includes procedures for recording and reporting such offers.

The Great Victorian Rail Trail is a 134 km recreational trail that follows the old railway through Mansfield, Murrindindi and Mitchell Shires.

The Great Victorian Rail Trail Strategic Development Plan has been created to guide the trail in transitioning from an asset into a signature tourism experience.
