Funding Finder - Facebook Tile-1.png

Did you know that there are over $40 billion worth of grants out there? Our Funding Finder helps local businesses, community groups, not-for-profits and individuals across the Shire to easily find and apply for grants.

Council’s Mayor Sandice McAulay said Council is thrilled to be able to support our communities to find and apply for grants.

‘Grants are a wonderful thing and they really can help give your business, community group or project a big boost. But sometimes it’s a bit hard to find out what grants are available to you and even harder to go through the application process.

‘Through this website, you can simply use the search engine function to access a huge range of grants. You can also filter grants by specifying your sector or industry and type of project. And you can also set up your own personalised email alerts, which will notify you of any new grant opportunities as they become available. And if the grant you are interested in is closed for applications, you’ll get an email alert when it reopens!

‘The website also houses a stack of information about each different grant opportunity and lays it out in a really easy to read format to help you understand the criteria and what funders are looking for in your application – although we always recommend you read the grant guidelines as well. The website also offers you  some ‘Top Tips’ for writing grant applications and provides recommendations for professional grant writers if you’d like some help with your application. Don’t forget that if you are applying for one of Council’s grants via the website, then you can always give us a call to get advice about your application’, said Cr McAulay.

‘We hope the Funding Finder will simplify things for you when searching and applying for grants. We want the whole process to be easy and hassle-free. All you need to do to get started is register at, set up your email alerts - and start searching!’ Cr McAulay added.

If you need any assistance in registering or if you’d like to find out more, please give Council a call on 5772 0333 or visit
