Cr Rebecca Bowles (Bec) has lived in Yea for the past 16 years, where she runs a small business with her partner. She has served on a number of community associations and groups including the Yea Football Netball Club, Yea Business and Tourism Association, Friends of the Railway, Yea Wetlands Association, Yea Op Shop and Yea Theatre Group. She is also the current treasurer of Cittaslow Yea.

Cr Bowles has an Advanced Diploma in Horticulture and a Diploma in Conservation and Land Management.
