High Street Yea - Road Safety Upgrades
We are pleased to advise that as part of Council’s ongoing commitment to the safety of its road network, we will be undertaking road safety upgrades along the length of High Street.
The work will involve relocation of services, installation of drainage, installation of kerb, renewal of some footpaths and vegetating new pedestrian outstands.
Clear access of the roadway will be required and at times reduced lane access will occur together with a reduction in speed. Works are scheduled to commence in May and are expected to be completed by August.
The majority of works will be confined to the road reserve and parking areas. The works will not impact on access to any businesses, however there may be some noise and disruption at times. There may be some minor delays, but they will be kept to a minimum.
