We’re working hard to deliver bins to residents who requested them after the 15 May deadline. Due to high national demand and limited bin manufacturers, delays are being experienced across Australia. If you requested your bin before 15 May, it should arrive soon. If you requested after, it may take a few more weeks.

Council’s contractors will be upgrading and replacing old stormwater drainage pipes under Cooper Street, Alexandra, this week.
Site preparation works are scheduled for Tuesday 9 September, with construction taking place on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 September, weather permitting.
Cooper Street will be closed near the intersection of Halls Road. A local detour will be in place, directing traffic via Nihil Street or Pendlebury Street. Access to properties along Cooper Street will be maintained throughout the works.
These works are part of Council’s program to improve local drainage infrastructure and reduce the impacts of stormwater on the road network.
The project is funded by the Australian Government through Round 4 of the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) program.
Council thanks the community for their patience and understanding while these important works are carried out. Please follow detour signage.
