Community Asset Committees

In accordance with Section 65 of the Local Government Act 2020, Council has established five Community Asset Committees that have delegated powers by the Chief Executive Officer. These committees were established in August 2020. 

The role of these Committees is to deliver a service on behalf of Council to their community, including managing a Council facility to ensure it remains accessible and usable by those in the community that depend on the use of the facility.
