Livia Bonazzi
Livia commenced in the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Murrindindi Shire Council in June 2021. Before taking on this role, Livia was the General Manager Strategy and Innovation at Western Water for six years.
Livia has over 20 years' experience in senior executive roles, in both private and public sector positions and spanning a diverse range of disciplines, including strategy, governance, planning, asset management and customer service.
Livia holds a Master in Business Administration and Bachelor Degrees in Architecture and in Planning and Design. Livia has also recently completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course.
Michael Chesworth
Michael has been with Murrindindi Shire Council since 1997 when he was first appointed as Manager of Organisational Development. Since that time, he has held several senior executive roles and was heavily involved in the recovery and reconstruction efforts following the 2009 bushfires that devastated the municipality.
Michael leads the People and Corporate Performance Group, which includes Business Services, Governance and Risk and Customer Experience. He has functional expertise in infrastructure panning and delivery, asset management and civil works, municipal engineering operations and disaster recovery and climate resilience planning.
Kim O'Conner
Kim has 25+ years in local government and engineering-related roles under his belt and is known for working across large, complex municipal environments. Kim has functional expertise in infrastructure planning and delivery, asset management and civil works, municipal engineering operations and disaster recovery, and climate change resilience planning.
Kim leads the Sustainability and Infrastructure Group, which includes Community Assets, Maintenance & Operations and Environmental Sustainability.
Andrew Paxton
Andrew stepped into the role of Director Community & Development in May 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew was the General Manager at Caulfield Racecourse Reserve Trust, establishing the new organisation to plan for, manage and develop the racecourse Reserve for its three purposes, being racing, recreation and a public park, addressing years of historical imbalance.
Andrew has extensive experience in senior roles within the interface of Melbourne, leading a diverse range of teams including planning, building, health, sustainability, economic development, design and conservation programs. Andrew has been on the Board for Phillip Island Nature Parks, where tourism and visitor services funds the research and conservation programs.
Andrew leads the Community and Development Group which includes Community Wellbeing, Development Services, Economic Development, and Flood Recovery.
