Businesses and entrepreneurs from across Murrindindi Shire are invited to come together in Yea on Tuesday 28 October 2025 for a free networking brunch and keynote presentation on the future of hybrid work.

The event, part of the Murrindindi Business Network Event Series, will run from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm at the Country Club Yea’s Oliver Room. It will provide an opportunity to share ideas, strengthen connections and hear Council updates on current projects and initiatives through the Murrindindi Capacity Building Program.

The keynote presentation, Work Reimagined: Building Resilient Hybrid Teams in the Hume Region, will be delivered by Regional Development Australia – Melbourne. The session will explore how hybrid work is reshaping business, what success looks like for regional organisations and strategies to address leadership challenges.

Swinburne University will share the latest research and best practice in hybrid work. Attendees will also hear from local leaders applying hybrid models successfully in their organisations. In conjunction with this event, leaders will have the opportunity to enrol in a free short course ‘Leading hybrid & remote teams with confidence’, offering leadership techniques and practical tools to boost team synergy and productivity.

Registrations are now open for the brunch, which includes time for networking and connecting with peers.

Not able to make it to the event and interested in attending the short course? Register for 'Leading hybrid and remote teams with confidence' and take the short course online.
