Yea pool is now squeaky clean and ready to see out the rest of the swimming season!
 

Over the past week, our teams have:

  • employed professional cleaning of the kiosk and bathrooms
  • changed out AC unit filters
  • employed professional pest control company to spray the grounds
  • washed down all building exteriors
  • washed down pool concourse
  • backwashed pool multiple times
 
Now all we need is you! Swimmers, paddlers and dippers, come down and make a splash during our regular opening hours before the season ends.
 
We want to assure the community that these additional cleaning and pest control measures were taken in response to recent reports of skin irritations experienced by some of our patrons and staff. After careful investigation, we determined that the presence of Mistletoe Brown-Tail Moth caterpillars was likely the cause. The caterpillar's hairs can sometimes lead to a temporary condition known as Caterpillar Dermatitis. Please know that we've thoroughly addressed the situation to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, and we're confident that all necessary precautions have been taken before reopening.
