Learn value of trees for birds, pollinators, and our communities!

Council is hosting in-person events and an online webinar, to talk about the value of trees for birds, pollinators, and our communities, the recent street tree audit and how to get involved in National Tree Day (27 July 2025).

There will be an online webinar, however we encourage you to attend your nearest in-person talk, as there will be a light dinner provided.

On Wednesday 16 July, from 6.30 to 8.30 pm, we will be hosting the talk and Q&A at three locations:

The online event will begin at 6.50 pm and feature a 30-minute talk from Ron Litjens, Murrindindi Shire Volunteer of the Year for 2025.

If you are unable to attend in person, you can register for the online webinar.

This event is part of our celebration of National Tree Day on 27 July 2025. Find out how you can participate or nominate you favourite street tree for a chance to win on our online community engagement platform The Loop.
