A Catastrophic Fire Danger rating and Total Fire Ban has been declared for tomorrow, Friday 9 January for Murrindindi Shire.
For the safety of our staff and community, we are limiting some of our services on Friday 9 January, including:
Alexandra Swimming Pool will be open from 1.00 to 7.00 pm at this time.
We encourage our community to be aware of the risks. In addition to the Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating, strong winds may cause branches or trees to fall, so avoid any unnecessary travel. Council is working closely with emergency services and partner agencies and will share updates as appropriate.
