Council e-newsletter naming competition

  • To enter this competition, entrants will need to opt-in to our monthly e-newsletter and complete all required fields, as well as the field titled "What should we name our e-newsletter". You can go in the draw now by opting-in and telling us your best catchy name for our e-newsletter: Council's e-newsletter - Murrindindi Shire Council
  • Entrants must be a resident of Murrindindi Shire.
  • One entry is permitted per person.
  • Entrants shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  • The competition begins at 10.00 am on Monday 2 January 2024 (AEDT) and concludes at 5.00 pm on Sunday 31 March 2024.
  • The prize pool consists of four (4) $50 visa gift cards.
  • Four winners will be selected at the end of the competition period in April will receive one $50 visa gift card each.
  • Prize is not redeemable for cash.
  • The winners will be determined by the most creative or engaging entry (name suggestion for Council's e-newsletter) during the promotional period, as determined by the judges in their sole discretion.
  • The winner will be decided by 5.00 pm on Friday 19 April 2024. 
  • The winners will be notified via email by 5.00 pm on Tuesday 23 April 2024.
  • If a winner does not respond by 5.00 pm the following business day, or is unable to accept the prize, another winner will be selected from those who entered.
  • To claim the prize the winner will have the option to collect the voucher from Council's Library and Customer Service Centres in Kinglake, Yea or Alexandra. The winner will need to present identification to claim the prize in person.
  • Alternatively, the winner may opt to provide a postal address and have the voucher mailed via regular post.
  • The decision in relation to any aspect of this competition is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
  • Murrindindi Shire Council staff and their immediate family are not eligible to enter.
  • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook. As an entrant, you completely release Facebook.
  • Murrindindi Shire Council makes no representation, expressly or implied, as to the quality, reliability or suitability of the prizes and expressly disclaims any liability. Any problems associated with the prizes should be brought to the attention of the respective supplier of the service.
  • By supplying your details and entering the competition, you are agreeing to Murrindindi Shire Council's privacy policy.

  • The winner as applicable agrees to comply with the terms and conditions applicable to the issue and use of prize from the prize provider.
