Yea Saleyards is the only functioning saleyard facility in Murrindindi Shire, located on Flat Lead Lane, off Yea-Whittlesea Road.

The Yea Saleyards features the following:

  • Fully roofed complex with lighting
  • Soft floor
  • Steel Yards
  • Four ramps for quick unloading and loading including a B Double Ramp
  • Water to all pens
  • Sprinkler system
  • Sealed Truck unloading area & access road
  • Weighing scales and scale house
  • Camera security system
  • Sale day management office
  • Scanning facilities for NLIS transfer of ownership
  • Hospital pen with cattle crush
  • Stock wash pen
  • Modern toilet black with shower facilities
  • Canteen building with catering facilities
  • Scanning facilities for NLIS transfer of ownership

The Yea Saleyards has undergone major development works in recent years that has transformed the facility into a premier Central Victorian livestock selling centre.
