Community Road Update

Rain has delayed fire recovery works at several sites. Council crews are assessing road conditions and focusing on urgent safety works so people can travel safely.

Recent and expected wet weather has left extra debris and silt on roads, creating hazardous conditions.

We understand some property owners are seeking help to remove fallen trees on fencelines that have landed on Council roads. At this time, reopening roads safely is our highest priority so the community, crews and contractors can move through affected areas safely.

Once roads are safe and access is restored, recovery support will resume as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
