Moving Murrindindi

Moving Murrindindi is a partnership program between Council and Community Accessability.

The program aims to connect volunteer drivers with senior citizens, people with a disability or financially-disadvantaged members of our community who might be in need of a low-cost transport option to get to medical or therapeutic appointments, social supports or other transport hubs.

Before enquiring, please note:

  • this service is made possible by the generous contribution of volunteer drivers
  • passengers are required to be independently mobile and able to get in and out of a car independently, while drivers can assist with seatbelts and loading/unloading mobility aids as needed

For all enquires about the Moving Murrindindi service, including bookings, transport costs, concessions and becoming a volunteer driver, please contact Community Accessability by calling 1300 704 530 or emailing transport@communityaccessability.org.au
