We’re working hard to deliver bins to residents who requested them after the 15 May deadline. Due to high national demand and limited bin manufacturers, delays are being experienced across Australia. If you requested your bin before 15 May, it should arrive soon. If you requested after, it may take a few more weeks.

Looking for advice from specialists and practical actions about how to manage during this longer-than-average dry season? Or just needing to connect with your fellow farming community?
We understand that the recent dry conditions have been particularly challenging for farmers across Victoria. The continued lack of rainfall, combined with decreasing soil moisture, reduced runoff, limited fodder availability and lower water storage levels, has made managing land and livestock even more difficult.
In partnership with Alexandra Events, Murrindindi Shire Council is hosting a free event for local farmers affected by the dry conditions. Guest speakers will include Rob Inglis and a free barbecue will take place after the event.
By attending, you will gain access to valuable information and resources designed to help you manage the impacts of dry conditions. You will hear from a range of practical specialists offering insights into livestock management, animal health and strategies to improve farm sustainability.
Come along to ask questions, connect with other farmers in the Shire and share your experiences.
We look forward to seeing you there.
