Council's Grants and Contributions Program is currently being reviewed in line with Council's 2021-2022 Annual Budget development process. We are not accepting new grant applications at this time. If you'd like to discuss a current or future application please call Council on 5772 0333.

 

Murrindindi Shire Council's Grants and Contributions Program continues to build on Council’s commitment to support events, activities and projects that align with Council’s objectives outlined in the Murrindindi Shire Council Plan 2017-2021.

In 2020-21 Council is particularly interested in supporting projects that help businesses, industry and communities recover from the impacts of COVID-19. This is why we want to work collaboratively with applicants and we encourage you to get in touch with us if your project, event or activity is not an exact fit with the Program guidelines below:

Information sessions

Are you interested in applying for a grant through Council's Grants and Contributions Program? If the answer is yes, you can book into an information session where you will:

  • learn more about Council's Grants and Contributions Program
  • learn tips and techniques on how to write a competitive grant application
  • talk to Council officers about your grant ideas and next steps

Information sessions will be held online throughout the year.

How to apply

Please note, all grant streams are now open for application submissions.

Applications for the Grants and Contributions Program are submitted through Council’s online grant management system, SmartyGrants.

To apply, you will need to register with an email address and password. When you click on the ‘Apply Here’ button on the following page you will be able to preview the application form. The first page of the application form contains more information on how to complete and submit the application form, and you can also watch a step-by-step video that takes you through the process.
