From 9.00 am tomorrow (29 January 2026) the Maroondah Highway and Goulburn Valley Highway will reopen.
As always - we welcome visitors - particularly across our non-impacted parts of the Shire - but we do ask that drivers stick to the roads that are open and don’t access closed roads as conditions may unpredictable and hazardous.
And while supporting our local businesses is important – please ensure that you respect those parts of our community that have been badly impacted by the fire.
