Changes to Library Services due to COVID-19

Council has closed its libraries to the public. This measure is designed to help keep our staff and the public safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and to meet the Federal Governments updated advice.

For our bolted-on library lovers, don’t fret – we will still be lending items through our new ‘butler service’! For members who want it, we can curate a list of items we think you might like (either from what you tell us, or from your previous borrowing record). And we have relaxed our borrowing rules to allow longer loans – right through to 30 June. Give us a call on 5772 0333 and let one of our friendly librarians curate a selection of books just for you. And we will deliver them to your door – safely and while maintaining the recommended social distance. And don’t forget access to e-material is available 24/7.

If you need help navigating your way to a great read give us a call - we would love to help. Not yet a member? Talk to us about joining over the phone.

Please note that all holds have been temporarily suspended and our after-hours library return chutes are closed until further notice.
