Fire Recovery Hubs

If you have been impacted by the recent bushfires, support is available locally.  You are welcome to drop in, even if you are unsure what support you need.

You may be seeking practical help, financial assistance, or simply a place to talk. You are welcome to access any of the services listed below at a time and location that suits you.
 
Council, government agencies and community organisations are working together to provide support that responds to current needs as the community begins transitioning toward longer term recovery.
 
Recovery Hubs are located at:
  • Where: Alexandra Recovery Hub, Alexandra Library, 49 Grant Street, Alexandra
  • Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • When 10.00 am to 3.00 pm
  • Where: Yea Recovery Hub, Yea Library, 15 The Semicircle
  • Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
  • When: 10.00 am - 3.00 pm (Tues & Thurs) 9.30 am - 12 noon (Saturday)

Services Australia (Centrelink) is located at Alexandra Community Hub 

  • Days: Monday 2 March & Wednesday 4 March
  • Time: 10 am - 4.00 pm

Support is available to assist with accessing Services Australia payments and to help you understand what assistance may be relevant to your situation.
