We’re working hard to deliver bins to residents who requested them after the 15 May deadline. Due to high national demand and limited bin manufacturers, delays are being experienced across Australia. If you requested your bin before 15 May, it should arrive soon. If you requested after, it may take a few more weeks.

In June 2025, Council adopted its Local Development Strategy. This strategy was created following extensive consultation, reflection and discussion as part of Shaping Murrindindi’s Future, and was made possible with funding from Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action. As part of this program, six innovation opportunities were identified. Innovation Working Groups were formed to explore the best ways to make the most of the opportunities identified. The Innovation Working Groups have been meeting and progressing with their own projects. This Celebration Event provides an opportunity to hear updates from each of the Innovation Working Groups and celebrate the real progress being made in all areas. We welcome all community members who have participated at any stage of Shaping Murrindindi’s Future, and other community members interested in the program or getting involved.
Registrations are essential as light refreshments will be provided.
