Municipal Fire Management Plan

The Municipal Fire Management Planning Committee (a sub-committee of the emergency committee) is responsible for the preparation of a Municipal Fire Management Plan (MFMP), which identifies actions and responsibilities for various agencies, including Council, CFA DEECA, and Parks Victoria, in the management of fire risk within the Shire.

While the Plan largely focuses on the threat posed from bushfire, it also considers structural fires and hazardous material threats.
