Community planning with the Thornton and Rubicon community took place over several months with events at the Rubicon Hotel, on the river bank, at the football club and in the memorial hall.
Around 30 people attended the final dinner on Wednesday 29 March 2023 to determine the priorities that now appear in the Community Plan, which was noted by Council at the 25 October 2023 Council Meeting.
