Join us for a weekend of discovery and connection with nature! The Great Southern BioBlitz is a global event where communities across the Southern Hemisphere come together to record as many living species as possible using the free iNaturalist platform.
A fun and educational biological survey open to everyone. Join a bird survey, wildflower walk or come along to a spotlight tour to increase your species count. You can join a local group walking event by Landcare in Kinglake and Kanumbra.
Just sign up to the project to receive more detail on events occurring around the Shire across the weekend through the journal.
Observations must be made between October 24–27 within the Murrindindi Shire and uploaded within 2 weeks to count.
