“The Beanie Song” - Bruce Watson comes to Alexandra

Ukulele Heaven is excited to welcome renowned Australian teacher and entertainer Bruce Watson to teach his hilarious “Beanie Song” to coincide with Alexandra’s Annual Beanie and Fibre Festival on the third weekend in May.

On Friday evening 22nd May we will gather in the Alex library (5pm to 6.30pm) to warm up, play some tunes and begin to learn the Beanie Song. Saturday morning, again at the library, 10am to 11.30am) we will refine the song and get ready to perform. After lunch, pop-up performances will entertain Beanie Festival patrons both inside and outside the Shire Hall. 

This WILL be a lot of fun! 

Wear your favourite beanie, byo food and drinks, bring cash for a dev tea at the CWA rooms, and join in as a singer or player or both. Bruce will bring several ukuleles for those without one. All musical capacities welcome. Cost - $10. Students free. Under 11’s bring an adult. Book online via the QR code/Humanitix.
