We’re working hard to deliver bins to residents who requested them after the 15 May deadline. Due to high national demand and limited bin manufacturers, delays are being experienced across Australia. If you requested your bin before 15 May, it should arrive soon. If you requested after, it may take a few more weeks.

Murrindindi Shire Council has received funding under TAC’s Safer Local Roads and Streets Program (SLRSP), in partnership with the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) to deliver road safety signage upgrades, speed limit reviews and other road safety works at 8 locations across the Shire.
These locations were selected to target areas within the shire that recorded a high Infrastructure Risk Rating (IRR). The IRR is a measure of road safety risk based on the road attributes, including alignment, lane width, roadside hazards, traffic volumes and other road features. These IRR results were compared against the Council’s Road Safety Strategy to ensure constancy between the calculated risk and the historic risks recorded in the strategy or observed in previous community feedback.
The following works, including speed limit reductions, are proposed at each site to deliver road safety improvements under the Safe Systems approach. Download the pdf for a zoomable look at the proposed works.
