Murrindindi Shire Council welcomes the announcement from the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) that Jordyn Princi has been elected unopposed to represent Kinglake Ward.

The by-election was called following the resignation of former Kinglake Ward Councillor Jodi Adams in August 2026.

Being elected unopposed means that only one eligible candidate nominated for the vacant position. As a result, a community vote is not required, and the candidate is declared elected.

Council congratulates Jordyn Princi on her election and looks forward to welcoming them to Council.

The new Councillor will be officially sworn in at an upcoming ceremony, with further details to be announced shortly.
