Digital Presence Workshops

Do you operate a tourism business in Murrindindi Shire? Would you like to build a stronger digital presence?

To support local businesses, Council is partnering with Tourism North East to deliver four free, in person workshops across March and April.

Social media and smartphone editing - Learn the essentials of smartphone video editing, posting, boosting and community management to create engaging content.

You will learn how to:

• Capture quality video content on your smartphone.
• Edit reels and stories.
• Use Meta Business Suite for effective posting and management.
• Apply best practice when posting and boosting content.
• Monitor engagement and manage your online community.

Workshop 1 - Thursday 5 March, 10.00 am to 2.00 pm at Corner Hotel, Alexandra

Workshop 2 - Thursday 19 March, 10.30 am to 2.30 pm at MiRa, Marysville

Australian Tourism Data Warehouse workshop -Learn about the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse and take part in a practical session to create or update your listing.

This workshop covers:

• The benefits of an ATDW listing.
• How to write a clear and compelling listing description.
• The importance of high quality photography.
• How to use features such as deals, offers, products, services and events.
• Creating or updating your business listing.
