A one day workshop at the Yea Wetlands Discovery Centre, which consists of the following :
There will be a welcome to country, followed by a short walk around the wetlands to help identify local weaving materials and give a small insight into the uses of local indigenous flora.
Upon return to the Wetlands Discovery Centre you will weave on a locally produced bowl using traditional indigenous weaving techniques to produce a unique decorative piece.
All equipment and tools required will be provided.
The workshop is facilated by Cassie Leatham (Tuangurung, Dja Dja Wurrung) and Louise Grant.
Morning Tea and light Lunch Provided.
