Flood Recovery Pop-up Hubs

Murrindindi Shire Council is running a series of pop-up hubs for you to meet the flood recovery team. This is an opportunity to share your story and to find out what support is available to you. 

Next pop-up times are below: 

  • Thornton Hall, Thursday 13 July, 9.30 am – 12.30 pm
  • Molesworth Hall, Wednesday 19 July, 9.30 am – 12.30 pm 
  • Alexandra Library, Thursday 27 July, 10.00 am – 1.00 pm 
  • Yea Library, Tuesday 1 August, 5.00 – 6.30 pm 
  • Yea Library, Wednesday 2 August, 10.00 am – 1.00 pm 

Dates are currently being planned for the Flowerdale, Kinglake, Glenburn and Buxton communities. 

The flood recovery team will also be attending the Yea Cattle Sales each month to offer information and support to farmers: 

  • Friday 4 August, 10.30 am - 3.00 pm
  • Friday 1 September, 10.30 am - 3.00 pm

Murrindindi Shire Council received funding from the State of Victoria through Emergency Recovery Victoria's Community Recovery Hubs grant program in response to the October 2022 flood event which impacted Victorian communities.
