Public notification to sell impounded livestock

On Wednesday 6 September, Council found a Red Angus Bull wandering along Spring Valley Road in Flowerdale.

Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to locate the Bull’s owners, as there are no identifying marks or ear tags. We can’t continue to keep the Bull, and we intend to put it up for sale at the next Yea Cattle Sale on Friday 6 October, in line with the Impounding of Livestock Act 1994.
