Council’s Sustainability, Community Wellbeing and Economic Development Portfolio Councillor Sandice McAulay said “I am delighted that the Economic Development Strategy has been endorsed by Council. I would like to thank the many people in our community who took time since October last year to contribute significantly to this important strategy. There has been significant input from the wider business community culminating in an outcome focused Strategy that looks to the future. Our local economy has had some challenges recently, and I look forward to seeing how this Strategy will overcome barriers to prosperity, and provide a real boost to our community.”
