Emergency Relief Centre - Yea

The Emergency Relief Centre in Yea has closed, as of 10.00 am on Tuesday 9 January 2024.

Residents who require assistance in recovering from flooding and severe weather events, should contact Council on (03) 5772 0333.

We encourage all Murrindindi Shire residents to keep up to date with the emerging extreme weather events in their local areas and stay safe. For warnings and advice on this severe weather event, please visit VicEmergency’s website or app via www.emergency.vic.gov.au/respond/

If you are in a life-threatening situation, call Triple Zero (000), and if you need urgent assistance, including requests for sandbags, contact the SES on 132 500.
