Application for building information 51 (1)

This application will provide details of all Building/occupancy permits and inspections issued in the past 10 years, including Building notices or Orders under Regulations 64 or 231.

All applications must include a copy of Title/Plan of Subdivision.

Application for building property information 51 (2)

This response will provide details on flood, bushfire and termite designated land. 

If you require information on planning permits, our Planning Department is available to assist.

A Council report under Building Regulation 133, indicating the legal point of storm water discharge must be obtained in relation to an application for a building permit.

Request for copy of building plans and documents

Property owners in Murrindindi Shire can apply for copies of building plans and documents.

Please note that the availability and quality of plans and documents is not guaranteed, especially if the works are more than 20 years old.

Please allow up to 10 business days for retrieval of required plans and documents.

A non-refundable file retrieval fee of $82.90 will be applicable to all applications.

Additional fees will apply upon retrieval of a minimum fee of $61.10 for residential and $93.20 for commercial.

Please contact the Building Unit if you require printed copies.

Pursuant to Section 248 of the Building Act 1993, a person must not act on behalf of an owner of a building or land for the purpose of making any application, appeal or referral under this Act or the regulations unless the person is authorised in writing by the owner to do.

These documents can only be provided to the owner, the mortgagee or their authorised agent.

The data is not to be sold, copied or modified without the written consent of Murrindindi Shire Council.
